Is it worth it?

We have one and I think it is - its $30 /month and I think a $60 copay. We used it twice last year and none so far this year. The cost of a plumber exceeds the cost of the warranty for the two visits I've called on.

So so - if something big breaks, yes. Small repairs? dicey service people for some things etc. we keep it though. Over 10 years, probably about $1000 ahead for having it, I guess.

Waste of time, stay away. we had it when we bought out home, (it was given to us by the seller) Try to make a claim.. good luck..

We have had one from AHS for seven years and it has paid for itself almost every year - 140-year-old house. HMS is also supposed to be good.
