Electricity bills have increased almost 10% since the start of the year and could rise another $170 per year for households by 2035 thanks to the repeal of clean energy tax credits, new tariffs and rapid expansion of electricity-hungry data centers to fuel a boom in artificial intelligence, multiple reports have shown.

Excellent! You wanted green energy. Now pay for it yourselves. Don't hit up the tax payer for subsidies.

Don't like it? I don't care.

Like the trillions subsidizing oil? Or is that where you draw the line with your ignorance?

Yeah. When you raise taxes you get more revenues. That’s $4 trillion more Americans get to pay.

They also said they will reduce the size of the economy and increase inflation.

This. What good is raising more from tariffs if you undermine the economy as a whole? A recession is not exactly going to help demand for our debt.

"We estimate that the changes in tariffs, both by the United States and its trading partners, will reduce the size of the U.S. economy. "

"The increases in tariffs will make consumer goods and capital goods (the physical assets that businesses use to produce goods and services) more expensive, which will reduce the purchasing power of U.S. consumers and businesses."

Can't read? The article says the electricity bills are increasing because they are REMOVING CLEAN ENERGY from the grid.

And... does this mean no subsidies for nuclear, oil and gas and coal? All more expensive sources of energy.

It's not green energy, it's just energy.

Green energy is cheap AF. Disincentivizing it is the problem. This is completely moronic but you worship a stupid person’s idea of a smart person so you don’t get tit.

Trump showing what an utter F^(*ing moron he is. This is ABSOLUTELY indefensible and unexcusable. Wasting $4b investment in infrastructure, just because his dementia brain doesn't like windmills?

You should be embarrassed and ashamed, MAGAs.

Chinese EV cars are all over Europe. They are everywhere. America developed the technology and ceded it to China. China 1. USA 0.
