Food, Cooking, and Restaurants
They have not left the fridge. What do you think?
Way too long. Even if you bought them on Friday too long. Just not worth it to chance it IMHO. If you have ever had food poisoning you wouldn't want to chance it for yourself never mind your kids.
|
Dice them and cook through.
Stir-fry? |
Thanks, I will throw them out.
I would absolutely eat them. My limit is fully thawed for four full days. So if you took them out of the freezer on Friday, I would eat them.
I would sniff, cook thoroughly, and eat.
def not a problem, especially if you put them in the fridge to thaw on fri...in which case the probably didin't thaw till later. regardless, 3 days is ok in my expereince.
It should be fine to eat.
I agree with those who think it should be fine, since it was frozen at the beginning of the 3 day period and thawing in the frig. Under normal circumstances (chicken was within the fresh dates when purchasee) and in a refrigerator that maintains a cold temp, 2-3 days is considered okay for chicken. One thing about chicken . . . more than other types of meat, it it feels a little "slick" and gets a bad odor fast! It's usually pretty easy to tell if it's bad.
