Recommend your storage system please!

I am looking for transparent polypropylene boxes with lids that fit tightly and can be stacked.
We are moving and I want to fold clothes and sort things into these boxes (labeled etc) so that I can just shelve them in the basement of our new home.

Also, any ideas for storing coats etc, on hangers in said basement? Any way to protect them from dust?

Any of those plastic containers will work but I'd look for a sale as they can get pricey. Recently bought at 3-pack at BJ's for around $15 and they are currently stacked in our storage area. As for hanging items, they sell clothing racks with a cover which is what you'd need. I would look for those at Target or the Container Store. Another option is check Craigslist to see if anyone is unloading an Ikea armoire and use that.
