North Chevy Chase Elementary--opinions?

Anyone with experience there? Pros and cons? And the community feeding to it? Nice family community? How do NCCE do with kids with mild special needs/unique learners? TIA!

My kids are attending there right now and have special needs.

The staff is excellent. The SN teachers are great and very caring. The community is very neighborly and close.

We are extremely pleased.

My daughter went there two years ago. This school has a small-town, neighborhood feel to it. We've attended other elementary schools in the area as well, and this one has the most caring teachers. It's homey and close-knit. One weakness is the shortage of after school activities, but I understand this has improved a bit this year and there is even more planned for next.
