I have one on my arm that just came out of nowhere. usually i wouldn't care, but I keep thinking it is a bug when I catch a glimpse of it out of the corner of my eye and it startles me. Any over the counter stuff work to fade them?
I'm wondering this too. I have two large ones on my face. I know you asked about OTC stuff, but as an FYI, a friend (who's Asian) had one frozen off but he went in the sun while it was healing. It came back with a vengeance.

I have a lot of sun damage on my face (very fair skin, childhood in california). a couple years ago I did a round of IPL and it worked really well-freckles, age spots, redness, etc. Then I did it again recently and didn't notice much of a change. Not sure why. went to the same place and everyting.
anyway, you can try some of the fading creams. You may also wish to try a Vitamin C serum, it is supposed to protect from further damage. |
retin-a can help.
Get a time machine and go back and use more sunblock.
Use sunblock. That will help keep them from getting darker and maybe even fade a little. But on your arm? Maybe see your derm to check that it's not cancer.
