Parents are in town so we are getting a rare date night with no babysitting fee! We snagged last minute reservations here tonight. We've never been, but always wanted to go.
What should we order? Do they have a signature dish they are really known for? Or is everything good? I'm a big fish and chicken person. Husband loves any kind of red meat. |

HAven't been there in ages - but when we went they had beef cheek as a special. I was weirded out by it - but someone else ordered it and we all tasted - AMAZING. If its on the specials list tell your DH to give it a whirl! Other than that, I think its hard to go wrong. I love fish and chips, and theirs is great..

| I think the faux gras is one of their signatures. |

I love the fish and chips, and the lobster burger is so delicious. I've enjoyed everything I've had there, though, so I don't think you can go wrong.
Oh, and the chocolate mousse is amazing. It comes in a big bowl, but it's very light and so good. |
| the kit kat bar dessert is very cool. |
| You have to get dessert. Even if you're not hungry. The Kit Kat bar and every other dessert I've tried has been fantastic. They don't outsource desserts like so many of these restaurants in DC. |

The short ribs, tuna burger, and lobster burger are all amazing. So it the chocolate mousse.
If you like bourbon cocktails, order a citrus manhattan. It is absolutely amazing. It's not on the menu. |
| I liked the shrimp burger better than the lobster burger. A little cheaper, too. |
| Cheese puffs are fun, trout was delicious. Husband had fried chicken and loved it. |
Yikes. I hope it's not faux. Do you mean foie ? |
| It is faux. It is chicken liver, nit duck or goose. He loves a good play on words. |
Ex. Gout here you come. |
| oops I meant Ew. But I guess Ex kind of fits too. |

The cheese poufs are something we always order. I thought the lobster burger was good, but not great.
We had the banana split for dessert once, and the strawberry sorbet that came with it was amazing. The kit kat dessert is very good; it's a signature of the chef's. |
LOL I wouldn't pay much for faux gras. |
