Thinking about buying a house in this neighborhood but concerned about teacher turnover and lack of respect for the principal. Any thoughts from those who go there? Do you love the school? Heard they are getting a new principal in July thoughts?

I have friends that send their kids there and love it. I have other friends who have chosen to send their kids elsewhere due to the lack of diversity within the school. I have other friends who specifically avoided buying a house in the area because the school turned them off.

The bottom line is it's a good school, but you'll have to decide for yourself if it's the right school for your family.

No diversity, socioeconomically or racially, so if that's important to you I'd look elsewhere. If a good school with a strong PTA is your top consideration, then you'll probably love the school. Very tech-savvy also.

Has anyone heard anything about the new principal?

The new principal is the current vice principal. There was a split, apparently, of folks who wanted her v. another candidate. Having moved into the neighborhood recently, this is what I've gathered thus far.
