false negatives

| how common are false negatives on HPT? I am about 1 week late and have taken way too many HPT--all negative. My cycle is regular so it is unusual to be late -- I plan to go to doctor for blood test but was wondering if any of you had false negatives.... |

| Sure, but only when I tested too early. That's not your experience. Could be you just had a weird month. Have you seen the doc yet? |
