As media outlets reported, former Republican National Committee spokesman and current GOP strategist Doug Heye responded to the performance via Twitter, writing: "Wonder why many minorities have problems with GOP? Hiring Obama impersonator to tell 'black jokes' at SRLC, for starters. Our own fault."

Seriously, did they think a black comedian was going to just slam Obama without dishing it out to everyone else? What were they thinking?

It is clear that they were not thinking. They are hosting a serious political event and the chosen entertainment is someone that impersonates the sitting president, really?

You'd think they woulda just hired a white guy in black-face. That's what American conservatives get for turning their backs on their cultural traditions.

Or Michael Steele. Maybe he could do a comedy duo with Alan Keyes. They seem to have no shame.
