Side effect of singulair - increase in appetite?

2 weeks ago I started taking Sigulair for seasonal asthma, and I have been since experiencing a noticeable increase in my appetite. has anyone else experienced this? I don't know what else to contribute it to

I don't know if increased appetite is a side-effect, but a few years ago, I was interested in trying Singulair and my doctor told me that it had been associated with weight gain. I assumed that meant it impacted metabolism in some way, but perhaps it actually just makes you eat more?! Either way, that was enough to put me off of Singulair, so I never tried it.
