Food, Cooking, and Restaurants
A college friend of mine is coming to town with her tween daughters. I'll be meeting them for lunch in Dupont Circle and would love to have suggestions for restaurants they might enjoy. They are adventurous eaters who like Asian, Italian and other cuisines.
Kramerbooks is an institution and the foods pretty reasonable and reasonably priced. Plus there's the bookstore, if they are readers.
Teaism!

Pizza Paradiseo
Le Pain Quotidien Alero City Lights (old school Chinese) |

There is a Morrocan restaurant at 24th-ish and P, next to Urbana called Marrakesh. But check to make sure it is open for lunch, I've only been for dinner. Uni is a nice sushi place across the street, and right below that is a very casual but good crepe place.

Thanks, all. these are great suggestions. I used to work in Dupont Circle, but haven't been there for lunch recently, so this is quite helpful. One place I always loved -- if only for its variety and pleasant ambiance -- was Cafe Luna? Don't know if it's still there (will google it now), but, if so, any thoughts?
I vote for Teaism too - it gets featured on the Food Network every so often, so "foodie teens" may know it - plus it's got a vibe I think teen girls would enjoy.
The shake shack is supposed to be a cool new burger joint.
Tabard Inn--especialoly if it nice enough to sit outside. get a reservation.
Cafe Luna is still there, but I don't think of it as very exciting. If you want to do small plates, Raku is good and covers a variety of Asian foods.
