any single parents tried speed dating?

I know I know, there isn't any time for much more than work, child(ren), eat and maybe sleep. But has anyone tried one these outfits? I did years ago and can't remember which company. Any recommendations?

I had success years ago with HurryDate, but they don't seem to offer much for women my current age (over 40).

It has never appealed to me. I am overweight and a mother, two qualities that are deal breakers to a vast majority of men in my age group (late 20's to early 30's). Meeting people through online dating sites has its drawbacks, but one of the biggest advantages for me is that by the time I am actually sitting across from someone or even exchanging emails with him, I know that I have passed his filters and he has passed mine.
