MCPS grade point average questions

My daughter will be entering high school next year. Do honors classes figure any differently in the GPA (I know AP classes get an extra point)? Do all classes, including PE, figure into the GPA? It's hard to believe that many of the classes she's taking at age 13 in 8th grade will already be part of the GPA used for college admissions as most of them are labeled "advanced" and get high school credit.
