Purchase/assembly of elliptical

I am very interested in buying a home elliptical, but have 2 challengs. The first is that I would need to have it delivered and carried upstairs to my bedroom. The second is I would need to have it assembled. Does anyone know of a place where I can buy a machine and have these issues addressed? Thanks!

Try Nordic Track (www.nordictrack.com). We ordered our treadmill from there, and for I think $100 extra they carried it upstairs in our house and assembled it.

Dick's Sporting Goods delivers and assembles - they were really great after a very bad experience with Sports Authority (which also provides both services).

I second the Dick's suggestion. We bought one from them and they carried it upstairs and assembled it.

Note of personal experience though- make sure that if you have thick carpeting, think about finding a flat board or something to put under the mat on which you'll put the equipment. I posted earlier that we're selling ours because the only place we can put it has thick carpeting and my husband (the one who wanted it), says it makes the machine run off balance. Another poster suggested we try a flat board to help balance it out. I'll suggest that to husband but frankly I think we'll still end up selling it because of space issues and such

Anyway- Dick's was good and they were pretty quick in the setup.
