Can you be pregnant and have cramps?

Anonymous
I am suppose to get my period on Thursday (well hopefully not), but I feel an achy crampy feeling... does that mean there is no way I am pregnant?

Cramps are normal especially the first 10 weeks of pregancy. I had worse cramps than when I wasn't pregnant. They were sharper-more intense and very localized.

I had very bad cramps my first few weeks but I didn't know I was pregnant. I kept waiting and waiting for my period and nothing came.

Cramping can be on of the earliest signs of pregnancy. I was convinced that I was not pregnant because I was starting to feel like my period was coming. I actually bled for a few hours on the day it was supposed to start, but I am now 13 weeks along. You can start testing in the next day or two.
