So I've never in my life had a problem with chafing, but all of a sudden I do this year. I am small and fairly thin (a size 2), and I work out daily so do not have excess flab on my legs. But my thighs are on the fuller side just genetically - I have always said I have tree trunks for legs. Anyway, all of a sudden this summer I have started having terrible chafing between my thighs and also along my underpants line. Especially when I wear skirts, as I have been doing with it being so hot, by the end of the day, sometimes it even hurts to walk.
Has anyone had this issue? What do you do? I have to do a fair amount of walking both this afternoon adn tomorrow afternoon (both supposed to be upwards of 100 degrees), and will be on my feet from 3-6pm both days walking much of the time with colleagues, and I am worried what my thighs and bikini line are going to look and feel like when I am done! Thanks for any advice. |

Totally worth it! You can also just use antiperspirant. |
| cotton underwear and boyshorts! |
| Baby powder. Carry a little bottle and re-apply throughout the day. |
Agree -- this stuff is amazing. |

I wear the lightest "hold" Spanx under skirts. Not the Grandma-girdle version -- I think those would be overkill in 97 degree heat.
they're basically boy short underwear that is about 2 inches longer down the thigh. |

^^^ spanx PP here. 2 more benefits of wearing these under skirts:
1. when the wind whips my skirt up, nobody gets a cootch show. this happens more than I'd like to admit when i'm, say, walking down the Mall 2. no up-skirt views for people behind my on Metro escalators, public stairways, etc. |
| OP here. Thank you all SO much! I am going to go buy the monistat stuff now and will wear my spandex gym shorts under my skirt this afternoon until I can get some spanx. |
