Bicyclist pulled over for running a red light

Anonymous
I see bicyclists flaunt the traffic laws often (I live off Wootton Parkway) and today I saw the Rockville police pull over a cyclist who ran a red light crossing Falls Road.

Did it make your day? No judgment but I bet it did.

Who cares.

It's 'flaut'. Sorry, can't help it.

But I agree, bicyclists think they own the world. Like I should give a shit they're in good shape.

Yep, it did make my day. Especially when cyclist ride in the road, yet don't follow the rules of the road.

YES finally! Take some accountability for breaking the laws on the road constantly. And pp it did make my day. So go shove it!

This would make my day as well. I live near the Cap Cres Trail which has stop signs for cyclists who routinely ignore them, flying through them faster than a car drives in our neighborhood. Every month or so there is a policeman who sits by the sign as a reminder, but it is not often enough.

No, it isn't. I recommend checking a dictionary before using big words.
Though it is flout, not flaut.

Definitely flout.

flout: Openly disregard (a rule, law or convention): "these same companies still flout basic ethical practices".

flaunt: 1. Display (something) ostentatiously, esp. in order to provoke envy or admiration or to show defiance: "consumers eager to flaunt their prosperity".
2. Dress or behave in a sexually provocative way.

After being bullied and nearly struck by a pack of bicyclists traveling at breakneck speed on the CCT this weekend, this news made me smile---thanks for sharing.

Good shape?? They always look fat to me. Runners are in good shape.

I can't stand cyclists' rude behavior on the road!!!

Good. Cyclists often break road rules - running red lights, making left hand turns from the far right turn on a red, etc.
