Know anything about Lyles-Crouch in City of Alexandria?

We may be moving into an area zoned for this school and I'm looking for some info on the school. I've looked at the websites, but I'm looking for some individual feedback too. How warm is the staff? Are there any issues we should be aware of? Also, I noticed that it's the only "traditional" school in the City of Alexandria? Anyone know anything about why? Any other odds and ends we should know about?

You aren't guaranteed admission into Lyles Crouch if you live in the boundary. There was a long thread on Alexandria city schools a few weeks ago, try searching.
