Just checking to see what is your opinion on Bethesda elementary school at Bethesda Maryland.

We are not SN parnets but our kids go there and they have a good amount of SN kids there. They are in all their classes and unlike when we were kids, all the kids there have had them in their class since K. A few of the parents of the SN kids come in each fall and talk to the class about their child and it is amazing when you talk too you child at dinner and they talk about it and accept it. It isn't a big deal to the students but more of a big deal to a few of the parents. Especially the few who think there kid should already be in Harvard.

Great school, really fun families, very involved familes, great principal and vice principal.

I attended a banquet put on by Knights of Columbus because my daughter's teacher as well as the school she goes to were one of the award/grant recipients. KOC apparently gives grants every year to special needs programs. Anyway, to make a long story short, Bethesda Elementary was another award/grant winner. Their teachers gave a nice speech and the program did sound very ingrained into the school.
