WHy does Barron look like Count Dracula?

It's the Trumpworld devotion to slick hair on men. Almost none of it look good with it. I think Hegseth (blech) might be the only one with the hairline and facial structure to pull it off. That brill creme style is designed for people with matinee idol looks. Baron isn't unattractive but it doesn't suit him at all. Eric and Jr look downright idiotic.

They are all very stuck in like 1988, style wise. The men all dress like Christian Bale in American Psycho. The women are always a cross between 80s era Ivana and a British royal. It's like if a

Christian Bale in American Psycho so apt and so spot on.

I was thinking Michael Douglas’s character in the original Wall Street. I feel like that movie was really formative for Donald Trump (he finally felt seen on the big screen….).

Yes, I'm sure she really works from 6 am to 1 am. LOL!!

These absolutely look like a 90s fashion mag layout selling business clothes. Business lady by plane. Business lady in office looking thoughtful. Etc. She can bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pain. And never let you forget you’re a man.

I don’t really like that sport suit (looks dated) but I guess she otherwise looks good. It’s just such a weird choice because it really says nothing about her as a person, her goals as First Lady, etc. it’s just modeling.

Spiegel’s catalog where the “model” does her own hair.

Dammit but I loved that catalog.

Yes. Similar repugnant characters.

Does this remind anyone of the photoshoot she did for Vogue when she was engaged to Donald Trump? She posed for a series of photos, including one with his private jet. It was so glamorous. And this DC one is so...depressing. Which is fitting for DC from a fashion perspective. She is beautiful though.

I feel like it says something particularly sad about Barron. I have kids that age and have never seen a boy that age wear his hair like that. So it makes him seem like he’s just totally divorced from kids his own age and/or so desperate for his dad’s approval that he has to basically play dress up to look like his dad in his hay-day. I previously had the impression that Melanie sort of sheltered him from the Trump mess but this haircut makes me think that’s not at all the case. It just is that saddest, most uncool hairstyle for an 18 year old kid. It reminds me of the 9th grader at my HS who used to show up to school with a briefcase.

Didn't Trump slap Don Jr. when he showed up casually dressed for a football game or something in college and made him put on a suit and this hair? It's a thing in that family to conform with a very specific, "Trumps in the 80s" aesthetic. I don't think Melania has sheltered him, in fact, I think she's angling to have him as the favored child and future Trump legacy. So he needs to do this Eddie Munster look for Dad.

Trump assaulted Don Jr. for the crime of not planning to wear a business suit to watch a baseball game.
