How much weight did you gain during your pregnancy? And how long did it take you to lose it?

Gained about 40. Son is 13.5 months and still carrying 15 of that, plus the 10 pounds I gained before I got pregnant in my gowing out to dinner and parties binge. And I am ttc so I'm just hoping to limit the weight gain this time.

Gained 22. Lost it in about six weeks. I got my butt back to the gym by three weeks though.

I gained 45 and 6 months later have only lost about 20. I workout 4 times a week and the scale is just not moving. Finally tried weight watchers and it's so hard while nursing that my husband has asked me to stop based on my mood swings.

I gained 25 pounds with the first, lost 15 pounds mostly through BF, went up another 30 pounds with the second baby, and am back down to to 25 pounds overweight now, 2 years later (but not dieting or exercising.)
Expecting a long determined effort to get back down to fighting weight, being over 40 now. Need a lot of cardio and veggie diet days.

Gained 40ish. Lost 50. Lost the first 40 by the time DD was 6 MO. I fully 100% credit breastfeeding.

I left the hospital 5 lbs lighter than what I had when I got pregnant but my body shape is totally different now 12 months later.

40 lbs dd1, lost it by 8 weeks pp. I didnt really eat much for the first few weeks after birth (which was a disaster for my supply, though).

currently pregnant and will probably gain about 30 this time around.

Gained 33; lost 39lbs as of 4 months. In addition to returning to exercise slowly at 4 weeks and building toward my former routine -- still not there, who has the time with an infant?! -- I am on a restricted diet in order to continue breastfeeding successfully; I eat a *lot* of food, but only veg/fruit/some grains/eggs/legumes/minimal dairy.

However, my clothes still don't fit the way they did pre-pregnancy... boobs and butt are bigger, but my waist/belly are back in place (if a bit softer!). I'm still in my "fat" jeans

wow. WHenI came home from the hospital, I actually weighed as much as I did right before I gave birth to an almost 9 lb baby. (Lots of fluid retention).

I started abuot 5 lbs above my ideal weight and gained 30 lbs. 25 lbs gone in the first 6 months--moderate exercize and EBF--the last 5 lbs came off very slowly, thruogh more rigorous dieting and exercise. I finally got back into my size 4 clothes and a few weeks later got knocked up again. Damn. I was hoping to at least be able to pull off a bikini this summer.

I lost all 30 pounds within the 1st 2 months, but my belly still looked somewhat pregnant/like I just gave birth for at least 4 months, and it still looked fat after that. At about a year or so suddenly it went down again noticeably.

70+ lbs. I knew I shouldn't have gained so much weight but I couldn't help it. It took about 14 months to lose.

Gained 30ish and so far I've lost 40 without dieting or exercise. I'd say I lost the 30 by 2.5 months and the next 10 by 5 months. My kid just sucks calories right out of me. On one hand I love eating anything and everything I want, but on the other I know I'm too thin. I'm hoping to gain back about 5 when I stop BF.

Gained 30 pounds with first pregnancy 3 years ago. Took me 18 months to fit in some of my pre-pregnancy clothes again.

I'm now 5 months after delivering my second, gained 35 pounds this time around and have lost all but 3 pounds by doing zumba twice a week, making lunch my large meal of the day, and staying away from Rocky Road ice cream.

I'm 5'1" so a few pounds make a big difference in my frame. I was 100 pounds when I got pregnant with DC#1. My goal is to be at 105 by the end of summer (111 pounds now).
