Greek yogurt and Kashi cereal question

Anonymous
I love Greek yogurt but was wondering . . . to make it more like a dessert treat now and then, would it be unsafe (because it wouldn't get cooked) to stir in some Kashi instant oatmeal to give it a slightly crunchy, sweeter taste?

That would not be unsafe. You could also try granola.

My favorite dessert is Greek yogurt w/ honey and crushed pecans. Yum.

Thanks! I've added Granola before but don't have any on hand and want a treat while I work at home today. :0) I'll definitely give your honey and pecans suggestion a try!

Also pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chopped walnuts, even a few chocolate chips . . . . Greek yogurt is an amazing food!

Just a few, the bittersweet, dark kind.

Kashi Go Lean Crunch has added sugar, as well as soy protein. You have to watch the Kashi cereals. I'd rather use seeds, nuts, a few chocolate chips, or some homemade granola!
