Which GT center is best in FCPS

Do anyone of you know if there is a GT center which is ranked the best in Fairfax for elementary grade level. My 2nd grader got selected for AAP, and have to move from a base school to the GT center school. We are currently renting and have an option to change the GT center and was curious if there was any GT center better than the other so that we could enroll.

BTW my other daughter who will be going to grade 5 was not permitted to attend the regular school at the GT center school as the sibling would be attending the GT center. I got an acceptance letter first and then the next day got a call from FCPS that it was an error and they would be sending a rejection letter. So both would be attending different schools unless we move into the GT center school area. Don't know how to handle this situation, any suggestions??

The two kids in different schools is not uncommon.

As for the best center, there are many different ways to define best, each of which can give a different answer. Best SOL scores? Best placement to TJ? Biggest (more students can improve things)? Etc.

it all depends on your financial situation, the commute, and the quality of the middle school and high school of that particular area.

some of the schools that I know that are good and are AAP centers are -- churchhill road ES, haycock ES, louise archer ES, colvin run ES, and mantual ES.

Don't mean to hijack - siblings can't attend the same GT center? Says who? Maybe this is a different post.

Yeah I know siblings who 1) attend same GT center and 2) I thought that if your child was in GT you could ask to have your non GT child go to the same school so your family only has one elementary school.

Yes, provided the GT center school has room, per Dashboard.
