Infertility Support and Discussion
|
I was diagnosed with endometriosis ten months ago and just had my second laparascopic surgery. For the last six months, we have TTC on our own and my endometriosis became MUCH worse because it was not controlled with birth control. I ended up losing 60% of my ovary in the surgery I just had, and my bowel, bladder and uterus were all fused together. I also had a "decimated" cul-de-sac area. None of this was the case six months ago. Thankfully my other ovary is fine and my tubes look good.
I am trying to go right to IVF so I don't waste any time and allow the endometriosis to get worse. Does anyone have any particular suggestions for me for a clinic who has experience in dealing with patients with endometriosis, who will also perform gender selection? There is no genetic reason for doing this, but I only want one child and I would really like to have a girl. I know that many people do not agree with this, and am not asking for criticism, just some help with where to start. Thanks! |
| GIVF is the only area clinic that might consider doing gender selection for non-medical reasons. |
