Cafe Asia on I St, near Farragut West? (Sushi and pan-Asian cuisine.) Daily Grill, on M Street at 18th? (American food, men tend to like this place because the entrees are comfortably-sized.)

I don't know if I'd do BLT for a casual lunch. I met a friend there for lunch once and our bill was $135. it is very expensive. And Oval room is really nice, but I wouldn't call it casual.

Siroc Restaurant at McPherson Square. Highly recommended and quite reasonable. If the weather is nice they have outdoor seating.

14K is nice at lunch (gets a lot more $$$ at dinner). A burger or Cobb salad at lunch runs about $13. They also have a buffet for closer to $18.

It's a white-tablecloth restaurant, but it's friendly and the food is fresh.

After lunch, walk down the hotel's hallway and grab a Starbuck's.

Founding Farmers - it can get busy at lunch so might need a reservation.
