Rash on Baby's Neck

Anonymous
DD is 5 months old and drooling a lot, so lately we've been having trouble keeping her neck dry. She now has a bit of a rash in the folds of her neck -- small red bumps, slightly raised. DD does not seem bothered in the least.

Is this because of the drooling or heat rash or maybe something else? Any advice on what to do to make it go away? Thanks!

Put diaper cream on it. Desitin is best. It will go away in a day or two.

My 5-month was getting red raised bumps and patches on his face. We think from saliva. I started putting Aveeno for baby moisture cream on his face and now it's gone.

It's probably prickly heat from the weather. It will go away on its own, just make sure not to overdress her.
