Which are the Decent Moving Companies?

| We had a bad experience with the last moving company. We will be moving in a month and hoping for a better experience. Please give recommendations if you liked your moving company? How much are their general fees? |

Are you looking for movers to pack up your stuff, or will you do that yourself?
We just used Minero Movers -- they were amazing at half the price of the other recommended movers we contacted. The only caveat is that they do the labor only -- you have to rent and drive the truck, and pack up all of your stuff yourself. They will wrap furniture if you provide the materials. But overall, we paid around $700 total (for van and movers) for a 7 hour move. They were so efficient, they had our house cleared out in under 2 hours. They were so quick that unfortunately, they were waiting around for the keys to the new house while we were still at closing signing paperwork. |

| I just used town & country and the team was fantastic. I really think that they went above and beyond. I would definitely use them again... although I hope I don't have to move again anytime soon. It's such a pain! GL. |

| Olympic. Their name is appropriate because they send a team of Greek gods who literally run/jog while moving your stuff. I saw two guys take an extremely heavy sleeper sofa up a staircase without so much as touching a wall, a feat I would have considered impossible if I had not seen it. The guy at the bottom was taking about 75% of the weight and the guy at the top was guiding to make sure there were no scratches. |

| You better schedule ASAP. I just got three quotes (required by my company who is paying) and need the last week of June. I was told to book soon (which I did) because that is one of the busiest weeks for movers. |

| Another recommendation for Beltway. A really, really picky colleague recommended them about 5 years ago. We used them and really liked them, then just used them again 6 months ago. Another positive experience. Several close friends used them based on our suggestion and were very pleased. Their rates were competetive/lower than others, too. Great service. |

| On Beltway Movers: We used them a few years ago and had a reasonably good experience. My one complaint is that the crew assigned to us was clearly pacing the work more slowly than was necessary, in order to match the estimate we were given. |

JK was awesome during our recent move. They are not cheap but their custumer service and attention to detail was incredible.
