Preschool and Daycare Discussion
| Any feedback from current parents? |
| Current parent to a child in the infant room - we are very happy there. Teachers caring and happy, facility is bright and cheery, and even the infants are actively engaged with projects like painting, etc. on weekly basis. A bit expensive, but in my opinion, worth it for the piece of mind. |
| Do you have another option? |
| I had a bad experience there and pulled my child. |
|
I used drop in care there. I was very happy with that experience. I work right across the street and watch the kids in the playground - they all look happy.
I would take it if you do not have another option. I agree that it is on the high side from a cost POV - but it is cheaper than a nanny. |
Can you explain? Thanks,. |
| I have another 48 hours to decide. The other option is Bright Horizons Skyline. When and what was the bad experience? |
|
I heard from a bright horizons employee that there were "some changes made by the director that have been for the better". But she couldnt/wouldnt tell me any details. Does anyone know anything about this?
|
They let my infant be picked up by someone not authorized. I couldn't trust them after that. |
| We had our DD at BHCC for 1.5 years from infant room until toddler room and we really liked it. The facility is fantastic, bright, cheery, well-run, Director runs a tight ship, our daughter was well cared for, and loved her primary caregiver in those rooms. They have baby sign language and gymnastics classes for the older kids. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about the school. We would have liked to stay and continue there, but we were expecting another baby and couldn't afford to have two at the center. At the time they didn't offer a sibling discount, and the high cost was prohibitive for two for us. We would recommend the school wholeheartedly to anyone who can afford it. It's worth the money! |
