What does the term contributing To the rendering of a child on need of assistance mean? Charge I found against a neighbor, also some sexual assault stuff. Thanks

This has been posted before. A Child In Need of Assistance is a child who has been removed from the home and whose case, when taken before a judge, was determined to require some investigation. That gives child welfare services some time to look into things while the child is in temporarily in foster care (30 days in mo.co.). Sounds like the person contributed to that initial finding that more investigation was needed.
