Suggestion for a psychologist

who does neuro-psych. testing and takes United Healthcare? None of the people the insurance gave us take new patients. A recommendation would be greatly appreciated. We are in NW DC.

I can't recommend anyone in your insurance plan but you should document the providers you contacted and were told they weren't taking new patients. You should then use that as a basis for getting your insurance to cover someone who's out of network at the same rate as in-network. We were able to do that and although it was some work, we essentially got a better psychologist.
