Preschool and Daycare Discussion
|
We may send our DC to Wonders only until 3 pm, instead of until 6 pm. We know that there is quiet time/rest time in the afternoon. We're wondering whether it pays to go to Wonders instead of just pre-school that ends at 12:30, like where we are this year. Our child doesn't nap. Any thoughts on whether it is worth it. We have a babysitter also for younger sibling so we have coverage in the afternoon.
Thanks. |
| What happens to the 4 year olds that refuse to nap and haven't been to daycare in the past to have an established routine. It seems like two hours of quiet time is a lot. |
| I don't know if it's 2 hours of quiet time. My child would look at books during that time (and sometimes fall asleep). |
| Was he at Wonders this past year? I've heard great things about Wonders, but I'd probably choose a 1/2 day program if I was in your area or could find one I liked at this point in the year. |
| Wonders seems cheaper until 3 pm compared to the "afternoon enrichment" sessions at CCBC. I was just trying to figure out what it's like if the day ends at 3 pm. I'm going to visit it at rest time and see. |
