looking for a good quality, waterproof picnic blanket

Anonymous
I'm tired of winding up with a soggy bum

Any recommendations? I'd like one that's big enough for 3 adults + a baby or 2. Ideally it will have a carrying case.

Thanks in advance!

I have one from Skip Hop and love it: http://www.skiphop.com/product/centralpark.html

I have one from Bed Bath & Beyond that has a waterproof layer and zips up into a rectangle w/ a strap for carrying. we love it. I assume they probably carry them every spring/summer, though I got mine 2 yrs ago.

I have this blanket and love it, but its a bit small and would be a tight squeeze for 3 adults and 2 kids.

I have the JJ Cole blanket. It's a nice size.

It folds up into its own carrying case.

Go Blanket. They are pricey, but excellent. I've had one for 10+ years and washed it 100s of times -- it still looks like new. I use it for cars, dogs, picnics, babies, etc. It's been through the mill.

Works great. Lightweight too.

We bought one by Tuffo from Buy Buy Baby. Large, waterproof on one side, super light, machine washable, folds easily and has a lightweight carrying case. One of the smartest purchases I've made. Ours is a few years old, but just saw them at BBB Rockville last night.

I have a Coleman's (a major hiking brand.) It is waterproof and a very generous size.

I second Go Blanket. Expensive but worth it.

The Zip-n-go Blanket makes a great <.a href="http://www.zipngoblanket.com">Picnic Blanket<./a>. It is portable and easy folds and zips into itself, so you don't have to worry about a carrying case or strap. They are also manufactured in the USA.

I have the one from Bed, Bath, and Beyond, too--it zips up into its own bag and it's great.

Same here only mine's from Kohl's. Flannel on one side and nylon on the other. Works like a charm at soggy soccer fields.
