kids playroom/activity room furniture recommendation needed

bedrooms in our house are small. we are setting up a seperate room for ds who is turning 5. the purpose of this room is for playing and storing his toys, sport gears (all kinds of balls, hockey stuff, skates......). I love those potery barn kids. but 1) they are expensive 2) they are for kids . as I said, ds is 5 we would like to look into some furniture that would go to teen stage.
where would you recommend to see?
