Fruits for lunch

Is it okay to eat just fruits from a fruit salad for lunch? Or is that kind of like eating only candy/sugar for lunch and it would spike your blood sugar levels?

Depends which fruits. I'd probably eat the fruit and a handful of nuts or some cheese for the fat/protein.

Melons, cantaloupe, strawberries, blackberries, grapes, pineapples and mangoes. There's no cheese or nuts.

I don't know about spiking blood sugar, but without any protein you probably won't feel full - or if you do, it won't last very long. Add some cheese or an egg with your fruit? And pick high fiber fruits to help with that too
