This show is fake and scripted. Explains why the footage cannot be used in court.
Also if it was, the defense would expose how scripted everything is.
And the footage is strictly owned by the show

Did you guys see her face when she hung up with 911. She literally looked psychotic. Why she followed the idiot with her son in the car is beyond me. Barbara has enough footage to legit keep Jace from Janelle after she put him in that situation. She could probably pull the other 2 kids from her too but I don't think she can take care of all 3 at this point.

She needs to be fired from the show. No question. I'm sure she will still try to find her own show, blame Liberals, who the F knows but man she should be sterilized and have supervised visitation (if she wants to see her kids).

Unfortunately I don’t think Babs can use the footage in court. After Amber abused Gary, something changed with their contracts preventing that. Corey tried unsuccessfully to use the footage of Leah when she was high and it was denied.

No, the difference between Leah/Corey and Amber/Gary was that Amber assaulted Gary and the raw footage was there. There’s no other explanation for the actions and Gary was a witness to what she did to him. There was no footage of Leah taking drugs, only acting strange and “high.” She could have been tired, she could have been told by producers to act strange, she could have been playing a game, etc (I mean, we all know she was high, but...). The show is often scripted with the participants told to reenact certain conversations or given topics of discussion, which the production admits. I suspect s lot of the storylines are also bogus, like Maci think8ng of adopting. But production won’t cop to that. I haven’t heard anything about their contracts being the reason footage can’t be used in court if something illegal occurs on camera. If David murders Jenelle in the car and those car Go Pros capture it, you can bet that footage is going to be used by police.

I think the footage in Jenlle’s road rage could potentially be used because it’s raw footage from a Go Pro, not manipulation from a camera crew egging her to act a certain way, and again, if she pulled a gun on someone, there’s no other explanation or manipulation of that action.

But their contracts still prevent them from using it against each other.

That talks a lot about filming on set and her wanting David to be allowed to drop her off and pick her up from the set. What do they mean by set? Isn't it filmed at her house and as she goes about her day? What set would David be dropping her off at and picking her up from?

The set is probably the reunions as her earlier demands were that he still be able to attend even if he wouldn’t be on camera.

As some of you have already pointed out it astonishes me that Janelle would willing put Jace at risk of danger by following that guy. It looked like she was playing a game of chicken w/ him on the highway...the guy was a DB to cut in front of her but seeing how stupid the guy is Janelle should never have followed him to his home.
