This is an interesting development. She didn't back off social media when her issues with the Kane Show were blowing up. Looks like Cathy Hughes don't play! I'm going to go ahead and guess that Danni overstepped her boundaries (again), but can't pull the race/sex discrimination card with Cathy and now she's trying to cover her tracks.

I don't think so. Cathy has said that Danni is an inspiration to HER and all kinds of other admirable things. She also said that she fully supports Danni.

Cathy Hughes also said it was a staged bit so she's obviously saying whatever she needs to in order to save face for her station. I wouldn't put too much stock in the "admirable" things she has to say about Danni.

She said all that stuff last Friday. I think that was before she did her internal investigation and had time to talk to all parties to determine what happened. And she didn't say it was staged, she said it was a radio prank gone bad.

I still don't think the whole thing was that bad... I get why Danni walked off the show in that moment. Why does walking off during one bit (staged or not) have to mean anything more. Come back when the girl leaves. Explain your peace to the listeners when the mic is back on and nanny-wannabe has left. Boom. Done. Next topic.

I assume the reason why this is not that simple is because of the crew's growing annoyance with Danni and her pedestal. Everyone discriminates against black women, except Danni, then it's called protecting your mental health.

Quicksilva admitted from the start that all hosts were in on it. Danni denied, pled the gender discrimination card, lapped up the public sympathy... then it comes out that not only was this a fake bit from the start (with an actress hired to be the ig girl) BUT Danni was in on the whole thing and not "ambushed" at all. I can see why she deleted everything.

Why are you blaming Danni? I don't listen but from what I've read it sounds like she wasn't the one at fault. Kinda interesting this happened on international women's day and yet here you are blaming the woman.

Look up iammorgansherm on ig, post from 3 days ago. She confirmed everything was staged. She was a producer who was fired for the whole thing. Danni is trash for trying to milk sympathy from this.

Danni is a full fledged psycho. She knew the bit was coming. She knew the actress was coming in. Then she posted an "I'm so upset/ I need to calm down" Facebook live video and talked up women empowerment on twitter for hours. No wonder her cohorts were so confused.
