WTF?

It's like the Walking Dead TV show. Why should we have to put up with so many white women?

The vast majority of coastal are liberal until they have children (especially sons).

Weird. Something must be defective for me then since I have three sons and am as liberal as ever.

Yeah.

Right? Substitute any other race in place of "white" and Jeff would probably delete PP's post.

But liberals hate white people, so it's all fair game.

We can assume that both OP and Jeff are liberals, so let's the party continue...Let's be kind to them, they are likely to spend 4 if not 8 years in full depression...

Anyone with a brain cares that Ivana gave a sworn deposition that Trump raped her. POETUS's own former wife, an integral part of his business and image, has said he committed a heinous act. It matters.

Anyone with a brain does care about rappers at the White House because it gives approval to the types of lyrics filled with demeaning and offensive words about women that many middle and high schoolers in any public school sing, rap, and play loudly on their car radios.

Why? Because I think she is a disaster. I'd love to see a woman President--but, not this woman. And, I have intelligence enough to choose which person will be better for this country. Everything Hillary touched turned into disaster. Why would we expect her Presidency to be any different.

Same here. I would love to have a qualified woman as President and there are many women gaining experience in the House, Senate, and state politics who will be a woman I will happily vote for in the future. Since marrying Bill Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton was given every job she has held because of her spouse. From the Rose law firm and the paid corporate board positions in Arkansas to First Lady, Senator, Secretary of State, and Presidential nominee, she was anointed by Bill to do the job.

Anointed? You are aware, are you not, that she had to run for Senate and win? Did Bill put a gun to the heads of millions of New Yorkers? And you know she had to win primaries? Yes?

And would Hillary be where she is had she not had Bill?

doubtful

Were you just as indignant with the Bush dynasty spawns?

White women voted for Trump because they are not as ignorant as black women.

Should Eisenhower tried to imprison Nabokov for writing 'Lolita'? Humbert H was like a protorapper in the opening of that book, and he fucked a little girl! Wait, he was an artist, as is Sean Carter, who has sold a fuckton of records where he raps different characters, scenarios (oh shit, I hope no one ever invites Tribe to the White House...)? Oh dear.

Michelle Obama is better educated, no doubt a better parent and more accomplished than any of you hate-idiots who have been dragging her into your non-arguments for 8 years. Let me guess, Melania (who I don't even dislike), with her fudging her work visa status and her racy photos, is 'bringing class to the White House' right?

And none of this 'Big Pimpin' level of knuckle-dragging duh will ever change that myriad women with confirmed complaints were assaulted by Donald Trump and you not only don't care, you mock those that do.

Did you just compare Jay Z to Nabokov?

You may hate the fact that he's outearned by a factor of what, 1000, 5000, 10000? But Jay-Z is an artist, though no one said their works are one and the same, genius.

ARTIST??!!! LOLOLOLOLOL!!! He's a highly successful rapper and entertainer and knows how to make money. Not an "artist."

+1
"Artist"?

I actually had a good chuckle seeing Jay Z's lyrics quoted here on DCUM. I'm the PP who said I've been listening to Jay Z since high school, mid-1990s. The Jay Z lyrics cited in which he refers to groupies in crass terms were from like, 10-20 years ago. He's now a late 40-something married dad and business mogul who doesn't even really rap anymore. He and Beyonce have been fairly active in philanthropy in recent years, which is likely why they have a relationship with POTUS and FLOTUS, who are probably not familiar with every single lyric in Jay-Z's canon. For example, the Shawn Carter Foundation has provided college assistance to kids from disadvantaged backgrounds, and he also contributed to relief funds for Hurricane Katrina. They seem to be some of the more active members of the entertainment industry in terms of charitable work. Which is, of course, more than what we can say for POETUS.

+1 LOL. It's hilarious to read so many of these posts. It seems that the only way many of these posters can make sense of HRC's loss is to demean those who supported Trump. Guess it makes them feel better to say that white women voted the way their husbands told them. Ridiculous. And low information voters? Let's not pretend that most Democrats are highly intelligent and well read either. There are plenty of low information voters in both parties. Much of Trump's support resulted from the economy, immigration issues, and potential Supreme Court nominees.

Agree, and I'm a registered Independant who chose not to vote at all.

1) they identify with being white, not a woman
2) they identify with being white conservative from the middle of the country, not white liberal
3) they agree with the narrative that they were forgotten by the rest of America
4) they sort of were forgotten, after being conquered in the Civil War
5) this is their temper tantrum. It will be no less damaging to the world because that is all it is. But in the end everyone will go back to forgetting them. Because they literally do not create anything of value, they like to attach themselves to a poser like Trump and scream hey! Look! He's successful!

Basing this off that white chick on the Trevor Noah show. Whose name I have already forgotten.

The hate on this thread is disgusting! The OP and all her pathetic followers should be ashamed of themselves. People can be such sheep. Our country is never going to improve if people keep bashing others who may have some different beliefs or views from themselves. We all need to realize that people have their own beliefs and views based on their own personal life experiences. All of us have valid reasons for our beliefs and views. It is important we stop the blind ignorant bashing and take time to talk to others and find middle ground. Both extreme Democrats and Republicans have been at fault for this at certain times in our history. Right now, and especially on this board, it is the extreme liberal democrats who are pushing an over generalized and false idea that Republicans and Trump supports are racist, dumb, submissive white trash. This statement would be considered outrageously offensive and racist if made about black women (for example). People need to look in the mirror. There is something to be said for the idea that we should treat others as we wish to be treated. Would you want someone making false, ignorant, racists, and over generalized statements about you? Come on people - hate and uneducated ignorant bashing whole populations of people is wrong and solves none of the problems in our country. We need to open our minds and find common ground and respect for all people in our community, so that we can have an intelligent conversation about how to improve our country, verses all the hate bashing that does not solve any problems and actually makes things worse. This is not ok and needs to stop!

Nice. Had to google that one. Do grown adults actually speak like this or do we have some teens on board?

OK, I agree with you. But do you think Trump is the right person to help us find middle ground? Because I don't. I think his tweeting is inflammatory. His remarks about the media are irresponsible. A real leader would point out that there are specific issues in the press and suggest a solution to address them constructively, not just cast blanket skepticism on major news outlets at a time when people are struggling to discuss things together. He has not come out strongly enough against hate groups and hate crimes that affiliate themselves with his rise to power in the wake of the election. He is the one who should be leading the fight to bring us together as a country. Instead, he's appointing people like Sessions, who were considered too racist by the GOP. Bannon -- who runs Breitbart. Have you read their headlines? If that's not a publication that's promoting "overgeneralized and false ideas" I don't know what is.

No one wants to be bashed in an ignorant or hateful way, on both sides. Unfortunately, I see a lot of that coming from BOTH sides, including middle (white) America that mocks and derides the very real life experiences of minorities, immigrants, gay people, women, etc. And Trump legitimized a lot of this by himself speaking in an openly disrespectful way about women, the handicapped, war veterans, immigrants, blacks... I could go on. It's not a unifying strategy by any stretch of the imagination.

To the above poster. I was not speaking of Trump in my long winded post asking people to stop the bashing. I was speaking to the OP and others on this board who were bashing white women and Republicans. Just because you are a Democrat does not mean you voted for Hillary and just because you are a Republican does not mean you voted for Trump. People can be independent thinkers and even if they align more with a specific party does not mean they have to vote for their candidate. That's the beauty of our country. This is a major reason Hillary lost. Many people in her party and those not in her party just did not like her enough to vote for her. Both parties had terrible options (in my opinion) this year. The country spoke and now we must make the most of what has happened for the sake of our country and it's citizens. We must come together and stop the hateful, ignorant, and uneducated bashing of others who may have different values and beliefs than us. Instead we must find common ground and respect for each other so that we can move forward in a positive way. It will take time, patience, education, and hard work. It will take listening and understanding were people come from. And most of all, it will take respect for others. The people on this board who make sweeping gross generalizations about populations should stop - they would not like it if it was done to them. Rise above, people, and stop being sheep. Have respect for your neighbor and the person who lives across town. Get to know someone and have respect for their differences. Not everyone has to think the same and act the same - it would be a boring world if that were the case. We just need to be kind, intelligent, educated, thoughtful, honorable, hard working, law abiding, and respectful. Being close minded (whether you're a liberal democrat or a right wing republican) and hating everyone who is different than you is wrong. Plain and simple. We all need to stop wasting our time and energy bashing others with inaccurate stereotypes and gross generalizations and focus our energies on being the best person we can and finding the best in others in order to reach common ground and better the world we live in.
