Maybe she didn't know the number, in France it's not 911

Exactly I had to Google it myself, it's 112. Both aren't French so it's not unrealistic that they don't know this.

If the friend could call the bodyguard she could google 911 in France,

Are you serious? Have you ever been in a high stress situation (specifically someone break into your residence in a foreign country). She probably just dialed the last number.

You think the friend had the bodyguards number as her last number? And as her friend was screaming for help all she thought to do was sit on the phone with a bodyguard? Are YOU serious?!

Well it was actually Kourtney and yes it's a lot more realistic that she had their number in their phone or was one of the last calls she made. Your hatred for Kardashian is clouding your reasoning.

Ok try to keep up with the conversation. This post is talking about Kim's friend. Kourtney was NOT in the apartment. It was a friend of Kim's named Simone. Kourtney was at a club with Kendall and the bodyguard. And I have no idea what hatred your talking about. Nice deflection tho!

Reread my post, I'm saying that the friend called Kourtney not that she was in the residence.

I thought this could be a fake at first but apparently there have been many huge multi million dollae jewelry heists in Paris and France in the past few years, so it is believable. I feel like criminals are more enterprising in Europe. We don't even have pickpockets here!

The truth is, she and her mom, Kris Jenner, SOLD her sex tape to pornographer Vivid Entertainment, Inc.

That fact is right in Ism Halpern's best selling biography "Kardashian Dynasty." And if that fact is untrue, then why haven't any of the Kardashians sued Halpern? (Maybe because truth is an absolute defense).

And yet, Kim and Kris keep telling the lie that it was "leaked." (Bullshit!).

So there's ample reason to believe this robbery could well have been faked.

It is not victim-blaming to question whether there even was a victim, given Kim's total lack of credibility.

The tape was going to be leaked by the ex-boyfriend. They made a deal to sell it since it was going to come out anyway. If they sell it, then it's in their court on their terms. I'd do the same thing if something that embarrassing was going to be coming out either way.

I think it's kind of weird to harbor so much hate for people on TV that you've never met or known and most of you say you have not even watched on TV. Weird.

Yeah they're rich, yeah they're famous. Lots of people leaked sex tapes (Paris Hilton, Pam Anderson, that Teen Mom star) and none of them has turned such an embarrassing moment around to their benefit like the Kardashians. They have great business acumen and know how to hustle. They work for that money and fame day in, day out. Can't knock that.

I think it's okay to knock the fact that they are perpetuating a culturally vapid society hell bent on insane levels of consumerism and superficiality. I think they are gross people. I am sorry this happened to her (if it did), but they aren't keeping their heads down and contributing to society; rather, they are leeches.

Wow, that one family is the perpetuator of America's culturally vapid society. They must be pretty damn powerful.

America's livelihood is consumerism, you should already know that. They are the "Keeping up the Kardashians" TV family along with all there other business and investments. Like most others in Hollywood. I don't recall them ever calling themselves the "Hippy dippy gonna save the world as future Mother Theresa's" Family. Their contribution is the same as the rest of Hollywood=> Entertainment.

I have no feelings about the family, I don't know them. I've watched the show, it's okay. Nothing special but nothing outrageously horrific either. The visceral hate on this thread though is really concerning.

I don't think I harbor this much hate for people in real life that I know and don't like. The catty name calling and utter lack of empathy for an attack like this is something you all should be judging yourselves for, it's ugly.

And all this hate and they don't even know the real story! And while I would not want that to be my origin story, KK took hold of this and let it make her a millionaire many many many times over AND brought her family along for the ride. So good for her. She couldn't stop the video, but she won in the end.

Who are you responding to? I'm PP and I never said they are the sole perpetuator of our culture. I also never said I hate them. I actually almost never think about them unless they are put in my face on the news like this. I never called them one name and I also said I was sorry if this happened to them. You are getting worked up at nothing, friend.

Do you know the emergency number in France? I don't. I've visited a few countries and have never known the emergency numbers. However, I do think that's important and will look it up next time I travel.

Sorry, my bad. Didn't realize Google was unavailable in France.

Does anyone remember when Kanye West sent out that tweet last winter claiming to be broke and asking Mark Zukerberg for a million dollar loan? Maybe this stunt was a set up by Kanye for money and Kim does not know. The police should ask him about his claim to be broke.

There were a bunch of articles about him then on how he had invested pretty much everything into his clothing line and really was broke. But I don't think this is a stunt by him or Kim. I do think it was an inside job though and that the story doesn't fully add up.

I correct myself. He asked Zuckerberg for a billion dollar loan after claiming to be 53 million dollars in debt. Didn't he say he was also running for President.

If I were the insurance investigator I would be looking in Kanye's direction.

He also claimed to be a God at one point.

I sort of think that the Kardashian empire is too smart to attempt a fake robbery in Paris, of all places. These days, you really can't get away with this at all.

While I generally never feel sorry for Kim Kardashian, I do feel bad this happened to her.
Being bound & gagged is something you mostly see in movies.

To have these five ski-masked men suddenly + forcefully enter your private space must be the most terrifying ordeal any person can experience in their life.

To think she was totally alone in all this is so sad.
At the time, she had an actual gun held to her head so she didn't know if she would live or die. She thought she was about to be raped. She begged for her life saying that she had babies at home.

I bet her sense of security is gone forever & that she may never feel secure again.

This is a perfect example of the downside to being a rich celebrity.
Sure, they may seem as if they lead such perfect + grandiose lives, but at the same time they are walking targets for all the sickos in the world.
