“I would think that there are probably worse people that you could text your secret plans to,” Roberts said on Fox on Monday afternoon. “But it appears Goldberg has acted responsibly here in writing this article.”
r/askpolitics was where I first heard about this, someone asked conservatives to give their opinion and they all called for firing people.

Fox 8 article has a survey on how concerned you are, 62% very concerned.

Are they actually covering it on their TV network? FoxNews website is not.

Still nothing on FoxNews website. Republicans breaking laws is not news to them.

They’re still brainstorming on how to blame it on Biden.

It's at the top of the website now.

Are they blaming Biden? Or Kamala’s laugh?

They’re wracking their brains to figure out how to blame this on Hillary Clinton.

Well, Elon Musk spent an hour with Hegseth on Monday hearing about the administration’s plan to have war on China. Didn’t break any laws there either I’m sure

Thank God this happened.

It showed they were probably using Signal for all of their high level communication, which was probably hacked by China and Russia a long time ago.

They must be mad this breach has come out. Someone might actually use a SCIF now.

(Remember Tulsi Gabbard refused to call Snowden a traitor!)

Nah, that was scuttled by leakers (aka, patriots - thanks guys!).

Realize she’s almost certainly talking about prosecuting the journalist. And not the guys who actually planned a bombing via signal in violation of the law and added the journalist by mistake.

The guys who ar using an unsecured platform like Signal are in violation of the law. The guys who included a journalist in the chat are in violation of the law.

I agree. But I also know, and you do too, that that’s not who Tulsi is talking about going after legally.

Nope-they scuttled Elon’s briefing on China war plans that was to be held in a secure room with several staff members, but Elon still sat in Hegseth’s office for an hour at the Pentagon, without any pesky leakers.

And, to be fair, it’s a pretty neutral report.

Guess it’s got to be pretty bad if even Fox can’t spin it.

Fox News was the leader of the “but her emails” group. What Hegseth and Vance did is 100x worse.

It’s espionage. I expect charges to be filed. And meanwhile our president says he has no idea about this. First musk almost gets a china war briefing and now top defense officials are using a commercial app to discuss war plans! Not to mention inviting a third party to the chat. Unfortunately we know that no crimes or carelessness result in any consequences for Trump.

Wouldn’t the DOJ need to file charges? I don’t see that happening in a world where Trump just went to the DOJ last week and ranted about how he will get revenge against all the people who tried to prosecute the January 6 terrorists and those who tried to hold him accountable for not following the law on managing classified materials…

Can we circle back to DOGE kids lacking security clearance for all the private data they are accessing on US citizens? This just adds further evidence that current administration cannot be trusted to appropriately handle sensitive data.

This is all being minimized as though the error was simply on inadvertently including the journalist--not on the group using Signal to discuss classified information in the first place. Unreal.

lol. Same here. I got looped into a random teachers chat in Ohio last year because my area code was 617 and I think theirs was 614) I outed myself early (they kept me on anyway lol).

This one, I would’ve stayed forever. lol 👀

Ok this is weird, im the pp you’re responding to and my area code is also 617 from my college days in Beantown …

We knew that already. The Trump admin was under pressure to release the JfK assassination files after 60+ years, because with Trump’s mental state, he probably thinks JFK was recently assassinated and that it’s a current topic.

Anyway, in those JFK assassination files; there was a personnel file for a CIA agent, about 400 SSNs for federal employees, ambassadors and others in law enforcement. They released the data anyway… and now they’re scrambling to issue new SSNs to all the people in those files. I don’t trust them with anything…let alone DOGE and Elon Musk’s band of misfit employees like the Coristine popcorn heir who was fired from his first and only job for leaking private company data.

By the Trump Admin or by Fox News maybe. People who know/care about national security are horrified.
