of course they did, without receipts, on the internet, according to a trolly anon who continues to bump this thread with off-topic mess. ![]() |
That dog was Jack Russell terrier, right? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Probably? I mean, those things are NASTY when it comes to anything that trips up their prey drive, so a cat would be gone quick. If your neighbors dog was anywhere from slightly bigger to smaller than the JR, yup, it's gone too. And I wouldn't be surprised at all to find one bit an owner, especially if they were between the terrier and its chosen/assigned target. |
Why would i show ‘receipts’ to a rando online? And you still can’t answer a basic question. If pitties are so sweet and pit advocates like you are so smart, then why are rescues filled with them while multiple other people report not being able to find a dog to adopt? Why are these owners the only ones who seem to be dumping their dogs with such a high frequency? |
Why are you responding to yourself? I’ve known spirited JR. Never ever heard of one harming something. You’re clearly delusional. |
Can we not turn every single thread about dogs into a pit bull debate? No one's convincing anyone else here.
Back to the original question: I believe if you have to ask the question, it's a no. If your dog is a family pet, you probably should have it spayed or neutered. |
My JRT WAS a cat, I think. Anyway, he had his own cat. They would sleep together curled up on his dog bed. He would groom her and she would groom him. She didn't have much interest in people, but that cat sure loved that dog and vice versa. It was hilarious, especially given the high prey drive a JRT typically has. I have a purebred dog with a high prey drive now (a Feist). He is extremely trainable and would never touch one of the cats because he knows they are off limits. He has absolutely no mercy on squirrels, though. |
So you think there's only one person on this thread? I wasn't responding to myself. Ask Jeff, if you need to be told you're wrong by two people today... And you're so full of crap if you claim to know that breed at all and allege that you've "never heard of one harming something". You'll scream "pit bulls were bred to murder!!!111!!" and then type this with the same fingers. Make it make sense! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
That's darling! And yeah, obviously not all members of the breed are the same, or even fit to breed type/standard. You trained your dogs to respect cats. My staffie mix does the same (all dogs in my house are trained that everyone else "outranks" them, cats included, so we don't have territory troubles). Dogs have breed characteristics, but they're not immutable. Most dogs can be trained despite prey drive or other breed characteristics (if the owner knows what they're doing and cares enough to get it done). |
We recognize your style. Go back to screaming about chambray please |
Ah, it's the "royal we" now, is it? ![]() |
Yep. You are a full blown loon |
The PP you're insulting outclasses you by several orders of magnitude, and probably has well-trained, well-adjusted dogs. You're not even a well-adjusted person. Take your L and stop posting nonsense. Go read some dog handling books, or just some basic how to not clown yourself self-help articles. |
You’re aware it’s obvious it’s still you, right? Or Wait, is this a ‘me’ problem?? Should I put on my Avant garde chambray and buy some jam? |
Pit bull dogs are not neutered or spayed as much so they reproduce. |
