LIVING for these town halls where bipartisan constituents are finally holding MAGA to account

Anonymous
They are using alleged potential violence as a ruse to justify hiding from any showings of opposition. Those town halls are BAD press and they can’t control that narrative. Don’t buy it. They kicked out the press, they lied and said the five bullet points were “just to check if you have a pulse” and aren’t a dead person collecting government pay checks and now this. They can’t control press access to these town halls or people from filming on their phones. This is complete BS.

Well Democrat rep. Swalwell seems sympathetic to his republican colleagues regarding the threats they are facing.

“Republicans on Capitol Hill are shying away from criticizing Donald Trump’s policies over fears for their physical safety and that of their families, a Democratic member of Congress has said.”

Aren’t they the party of war, “alphas”, and “masculine energy”?

There can only be one alpha.

Well...looks like this prediction was accurate: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/house-republicans-town-halls-blowback-trump-cuts-rcna193766

It’s very easy to predict what republicans will do. Just pick the most cowardly thing possible and you won’t be wrong.

They probably believe that the people that are mad at them are setup by Democrats, or a small minority of their electorate, and especially in the deep red states, they can probably do whatever they want and still get elected because there is a R behind their name.

They are already saying that. They are saying the angry constituents at the VA town hall were “planted Democrats”. That they were actors. They also fail to realize constituents are everyone—even those that did not vote for them.

Crazy, crazy country

Just like the 1/6 insurrectionists? I remember that lie from 4 years ago.

They have been dropping and will continue to drop while Trump tanks the economy. See: Stock market drop this past week along with latest consumer sentiment report along with softer than expected retail sales.

You think Trump’s 40 days in office have been a huge blow to our economy?

🤡

What a bunch of worthless sacks of skin.

The violent protesters have traditionally been the unhinged MAGAs (like January 6, 2020 when they killed LEOs at the Capitol), not the woke anti-gun Democrats. But if they have no articulate response to defend Trump's cuts, I suppose blaming Democrats for their inability to speak is consistent anyway.

PUNISH the Republican Senators and Congressmen who refuse to serve as any kind of check on Mump/Trance and the other idiots ruining our economy.

Vote them OUT!

Yes, if only.

But the Dems need to give them someone worth voting for....
