Okay. You are aware that a lot of the damage is due to weakened constructions standards by the NC GOP legislature. NC infrastructure no better than some developing countries after an earthquake.

The Biden admin threw them a wimpy check and washed their hands of it. We'll see what happens when he visits, but at least he didn't forget.

Your family members shouldn’t be getting a dime of my federal tax dollars. They need to look to their own state and communities for help. You can’t vote to dismantle the federal government then cry that it won’t help your family. You go take care of your family.

Right? No intellectual consistency to be found there...

If CA needs to meet conditions, then so does NC, including upholding best practices on building codes rather than allowing developers to get away with constructing inferior products.

Not a fan of the Jan 6 insurrectionists but they served more time in mail than many criminals. Free up the space for the drug dealers and murderers whose sentences Biden commuted.

Their egregious offenses are worse than most. They tried to undermine the state and deserve a lot worse.

Everything. Too many to list.

The problem is the vast inconsistency between how the J6 people were treated and the 2020 BLM people. The J6 people protested for one day, in one place, what they believed to be a legitimate grievance about vote counting in two swing states (GA and PA). Some of them went too far and committed crimes, and were rightly arrested and sentenced. But the sentences were vastly disproportionate to the crimes - 10, 20 years for trespassing and property crimes like breaking windows.

The BLM protesters in summer 2020 also were protesting what they believed was a legitimate grievance (police mistreatment of Blacks), and by any objective measure, did far more damage than the J6 protesters, in terms of personal injuries, deaths, assaults on police officers, and massive amounts of property damage, in multiple cities, over a period of months. But not one person was sentenced to a single day in prison.

Your president sent a murderer of FBI agents from jail to his home. Sit down. You have no moral high ground here.

This is what pisses me off most. No one is defending what Biden did. It was awful and Biden was awful for doing it. But why can’t you admit when Trump screws up? All you do is say “but, but.” Man up and stop being a cuck to this idiot.

And calling the hardworking HSI, DEA, FBi, IRS and Postal agents who worked this case “scum!” Way to back the blue!

-having low tv ratings for his Inauguration
-pardoning a violent J6 insurrectionist who is now facing new gun charges

And Trump is pondering having them all to the WH. For what? The first State dinner? Goes hand in hand with the GOP on the Hill hosting the head of the Oath Keepers. Truly, WTF is this country coming to? Meanwhile, Trump continues to position his family to make Billions during this term while he enjoys total criminal immunity and has SCOTUS in his pocket. This is who you elected, so enjoy!

Were all your screens on the fritz on J6? Were you on holiday? It was an insurrection to prevent the ratification of the '20 presidential election. There was no "legitimate" grievance about vote counting. Building gallows to hang the sitting VP is not legitimate. Entering the Capitol with weapons and zip ties to take hostages is not legitimate. Are you a Liberty U alum?

Exactly. The lawsuits and injunctions have already started. Trump will soon learn that he can go through the motions but doesn’t have unconditional powers. Can’t imagine how much money we (the taxpayers) will end up shelling out when we have to pay for all the wrongful terminations and employment law missteps he’s making too.

I’m no fan of the BLM stuff, but they didn’t violently invade the capitol. No comparison.

Proof? If black people had stormed the Capitol, not a single one would be alive today.

I’m happy that he’s getting so many violent criminals off the streets asap. And I’m furious that they’re out there in our communities to start with.
