The New York Times sent push alerts on stories about the Post's internal company politics on two consecutive days this week (so far), I don't think it's crazy for the Post to also write about it. Especially since the stories dealt with the publisher trying to get the paper not to write about him. |

WaPo and NYT still heavily supporting Biden. WSJ recently did a very balanced article on the mental acuity of Biden, and to a lesser extent, Trump. Very thought provoking article. Crickets from the NYT and WaPo recently, which is surprising given that so many Americans are worried about the mental fitness of both candidates. Nothing has changed at either paper since 2016.
Maybe the paper could do an article about how to gauge cognitive function in older adults or that presidential candidates over age 70 need to complete neuropsychological testing. Something to address this important issue before the election. But WaPo won't because it might give Trump an edge, facts be damned! |
| I think it’s hilarious that the Post lost 77 million dollars last year and the employees are butt hurt and in denial that they need some sort of market correction. |
| Well louche lizard just sent a false apology to staff per one news report, promising to be humble. His terrible joke about British vs American “pissed” fell flat. NPD vibes. |
You’re just proving that journalism is a broken profession. |
If the Post’s internal mess isn’t of any public interest, why is there a long discussion of it still going on here? Seems like people are curious about it. |
Third party media observers all characterize that article as a hit job quoting Republican elected officials on why they think Biden has lost a step and not a balanced thoughtful piece. Tbh I think we should have age limits for all public officials and I hate that our choices for this election are two way too old candidates, but there’s no doubt in my mind that Biden is sharper than Trump and there’a no doubt in my mind that I’d rather have Biden’s cabinet run the government than Stephen Miller, Javanka, Russell Vought, and the rest of the crazies. |
| Trump gets such a pass from the media because they think all of his missteps are “baked in” to his appeal/persona. There is just no way the NYT is harder on Trump than Biden. There has been virtually no coverage of the record stock market, or the decline in border crossings etc etc |
You’re kidding right? It’s a bunch of journalists complaining and literally everyone else telling you to zip it. |
Better learn coding like everyone in dying industries like manufacturing. |
I'd take Peggy Noonan any day over that flibbertigibbet, Petula Dvorak. |
|
Today, the WSJ ran a story suggesting that someone at the vice presidential debate ask Kamala Harris who she would name as her vice president when Biden inevitably toddles off into the sunset about year into his second term. Sometimes the women and diversity hires are not all that they are cracked up to be. |
+2 IMHO it is right up there with the Financial Times. |
"Little prick" shows how biased you are and why you ate up the story like red meat. Go apologize to someone stealing stuff from CVS because they are "too corporate" and care about "profits." |
The Post can perform a "market correction," whatever garbage you think that entails, without it being done by a sleazy British tabloid journalist who's more interested in suppressing stories about him that make him look bad (phone hacking). Props to them. |
