Articles stated LS's attendance was conditional on AW "assisting" her with the dress selection. Who knows if true, but interesting in light of this.


Honestly, this whole thing was a snooze, other than maybe Zendaya's Galliano and Mindy Kaling's sculptural dress (though snooze-y color).

I thought the same thing! Also you can't see it in this photo but she's got a huge emerald cocktail ring on over her gloves and it's the perfect detail. I am not a Kardashians fan but this was a great look.

It’s very pretty but a bit boring for the Met Gala (although I’m sure it probably cost more than I make in a year). Too bad she didn’t wear that dress to the State dinner. She could have let loose withe something more fun at the Met Gala

This dress is a Balenciaga recreation of a 1950s pic of Dorian Leigh, thus the “reawakening beauty” per the theme. Kidman often honors older designers & photographers in her couture. But please tell us she looks pregnant or something ridiculous.
