Sir, this isn't a Wendys. |
Who did you vote for in the last election? If you are angry about the west end dying, why are you voting at all? It's not like any candidates (to date) are planning on doing anything different than the mayor and the last few councils. |
|
Pretty crazy that Bowser's Chief of Staff was ousted within days of discovering that he was flirting with coworkers yet the media has largely ignored that Alexandria's Mayor-to-be seems to be married to a repeat felon.
I wonder what their reaction will be if he does something that negatively impacts the city while she is in office. They certainly can't say they didn't know. |
1. You really consider what Falcicchio did "flirting"? "By midnight, after more whiskey and tequila, she was drunk and Falcicchio was taking her to his apartment, where she said he suddenly tried to kiss her." "he texted her a video of himself mast*bating and sent her lurid and explicit texts, some of which are described in this story." https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2023/06/24/interview-accuser-john-falcicchio-alleged-sexual-harassment/ 2. Do you not see the difference between a person being fired for their *own* sexual harassment and a person being canceled for the actions of their family member? 3. Who is "they" that you are talking about? |

This race is getting more and more fun to watch! Boy the Alexandria AWFLs are going to have a hard choice. Choose Gaskins who hits all the intersectionality they love (from a distance) or vote for this guy and keep taking orders from the Alexandria establishment's patriarchy that they so love to take orders from? |
| ^^ He is running for council, not Mayor. But he and Becky Hammer are condescending, spoiled millennials that try to use humor to mask their holier-than-thou white-savior sentiments. |
|
That he's a running buddy of their dear Mayor Wilson does make him qualified for office in the eyes of most Alexandrians. Wilson's DelRay/Rosemont/Beverley Hills mob believe this in particular.
Poor Chapman. He carried so much water for Wilson and now tossed aside. Doubt he gets re-elected to council. |
Since last August, he’s also co-authored an Alexandria-focused blog, ALXtra. It’s a satire blog, O’Connell says, humorously intended for millennials. “I think the newsletter is very informed by kind of a millennial sensibility,” he said. “I think it’s very informed by kind of a literacy with internet culture.”
Becky is so excited. |
Millenial Sensibility = rich, white Del Ray inhabitants that think supporting ADUs means they’re campaigning for the poor. Probably even richer after Biden forgave their student loan debts amassed when they attended elitist colleges that taught them how to ooze smugness. |
I agree with you except for the elitist college bit. Most of them couldn't get in. |
Is he a felon? His record in Virginia does not indicate a felony conviction. Are you sure you didn't find a different Greg Gaskins? Or was this in another state? |
Hes a convicted drunk driver with subsequent arrests and probation for failing to comply with the breathalyzer device on his car according to docs I see. That's 100 times worse than any small financial felony. He could have killed people. Why are you defending this scumbag? |
Not the PP but why are you still refusing to go to the press? Why not write an op-ed for one of the local papers? |
Look! A sock puppet! |
Not an argument and not an answer. |
