ipad wifi/3G

| is it silly to get an ipad wifi if i would want to take it travelling. i don't have a sense of how widespread wifi is these days? wouldn't work on the train to ny would it? |

| Wifi comes standard with the ipad. What's extra is 3g. You need to decide whether you want AT&T or Verizon. I sprung for the 3G because many times a hotel will charge you for their wifi and it's cheaper just to pay for the 3g ahead of time. |
