Ugh, yes and no. I had my palm read in high school and the woman said a couple of things that turned out to be true (but were not that hard to predict, like my then boyfriend at 17 probably wasn't going to be the one I ended up with. Duh.). She said I would have three kids and it freaked me out because at that point I didn't know if I wanted ANY kids.
Flash forward many, many years and we had a child, and then got pregnant with another. I was TERRIFIED it would be twins because of that damn palm reader (which would be difficult for a number of reasons, one I didn't want a high risk pregnancy, and two we would seriously have to consider me giving up my career since daycare costs for two infants plus a preschooler would be tough). Anyway, it is not twins but it really freaked me out. (Also, one of the pediatricians at our practice told me he thought I'd have three so it was weighing on me).
I believe for palm reading to be true, life has to be fated out and preplanned. While I do some things are probably fate, I think some things change so not everything is fate.
