Recent experience in infant room, Easter Seals Silver Spring

Anonymous
Our daughter was offered a spot at Easter Seals in Silver Spring. She will be 3 months old when she is due to start. Anyone have recent experience at this location in the infant room? Particularly whether the providers hold the babies and play with them, and have good hand washing habits? Teacher turnover in this particular room? The room seemed awfully small when we visited. Thanks!

I don't know the answers to your questions, but would you mind telling me when you signed up for their waiting list?

For those who are still interesting, our son was in the infant room last year, and we really loved it. Yes, the room is very small (my biggest complaint), but that small problem is made up for by the loving loving teachers and the attention I felt my son was receiving. They gives lots of hugs and kisses - there is a lot of positive energy (we had Lisa and Portia - Portia has now moved to a toddler room). Also, FYI next week they are opening up a new combined infant/toddler room, in addition to the current infant room, which is a bigger room with windows, so if that is important to you (and you don't mind the infant/toddler mix), you could request to be in that room instead. Overall, we had a great experience, and our son is now in one of the older rooms, and we still really like it.

Our son thrived in the infant room at Easter Seals. The teachers are very loving and attentive. They seem very diligent about handwashing (our son got a couple minor colds last winter but that's it).
