Mariah Carey named her twins Moroccan (boy) and Monroe (girl) after her apartment decor and Marilyn Monroe.

| I almost choked when I read Moroccon. That is the stupidest name ever. Well, not the stupidest, I think Bronx Mowgli is worse. But Moroccan is ridiculous. And for some reason seems like a girl's name and not a boy's. Somehow Morocco would have seemed more legit to me than Morocco. |

Goodness gracious, I really need to re-read posts before I hit submit. Moroccan is the kid's name, not Moroccon (good lord, I hope they at least spelled it right). And I think Morocco would have been better than Moroccan. |

I liked Harlow, but Monroe for a girl? Why didn't she just name her Marilyn if she wanted to honor her.
I won't even discuss the boy's name. Awful, just awful. I was hoping for so much more from them. I like unusual names, but some celebrities just take it too far. |

| Monroe doesn't sound awful, but Moroccan is terrible. One of the worst. Maybe even worse than Bronx (although the combination of Bronx Mowgli is appalling). Do these people not realize they are naming actual human beings? |

| Mariah Carey is an idiot so I'm not surprised that she picked idiotic names. I guess Monroe isn't horrible but Moroccan is just ridiculously stupid. Hearing the names, most people wouldn't even know which was the boy and which was the girl. |

Considering it is Mariah Carey and her incredibly unfortunate tatse, they are lucky their names are not Rainbow and Glitter!  Although Morrocan is probably just as bad and for a girl, Monroe is not much better. Poor, poor kids.

| Monroe isn't completely heinous in my opinion, but I agree Morroccan is pretty bad. Why not just Rocco because that's probably what he'll be called anyway, and it's much more masculine. |
